David Kantounas
Playwright
Now based in Norwich, David has spent his writing career navigating the vibrant theatre scenes of London, New York, and Berlin. His work explores the patterns beneath human behaviour, elevating the everyday to the absurd and the mythic. After a 6 year hiatus, David has a new play NOT HERE, NOT US, NOT ME. His other plays include: WARNING SIGNS (HAU2, 2015; Theatre Royal Stratford East, 2016), BEACH HUT (Commissioned by Blind Summit, 2013), BRIGHT LIGHT (Commissioned by the Bush Theatre, 2013), WASTE (Bruntwood Prize Finalist, 2013), EVERYTHING ELSE HAPPENED (Assembly, 2012), HOME (Drywrite, Frequency Theatre, 2012), GUTTER JUNKY (Assembly, 2011), GRIEF (Brooklyn Lyceum, Old Vic Tunnels, 2011), THE FAMILY (Public Theatre, 2010). David has also worked as a dramaturg, director & producer. He founded DREAMEPIC THEATRE (London, 2011 - 2016), was a resident artist at TAKT KUNSTPROJEKTRAUM (Berlin 2016 - 2018), artistic associate at UGLY RHINO (New York 2011 - 2013) and course assistant and senior reader at the ROYAL COURT THEATRE YWP (2006 - 2008).

Joseph Arkley
Joseph trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He has performed extensively with the Royal Shakespeare Company since 2009. His most notable work with the company included Katherine in Justin Audibert’s gender reversed production of Taming of the Shrew, Lucio in Greg Doran’s Measure for Measure and Tybalt in Rupert Goold’s Romeo and Juliet. He also has a long-standing connection to Richard III, having performed in the acclaimed production at the Almeida Theatre in 2016. He then played the titlerole in Perth, Scotland in 2018.
Screen work has led him to playing Gregory Knox in the second season of The Capture for the BBC and Netflix. More recently he played Thomas Deveraux in Wreck (Season 2) for BBC and Hulu. He also played the great physicist David Bohm opposite Geoffrey Rush’s Einstein in Genius for National Geographic.
Joseph is a trained workshop facilitator and regularly runs Acting workshops for screen and stage throughout the UK and internationally.
